Baseball season!

You know that summer is getting near when baseball practice starts. My son has played baseball since he was 5 years old. He really loves the sport and is a huge Tiger's baseball fan. He knows stats that most do not, he knows the players as well as a lot of stats and information on players of other teams. To be honest, my son hasn't always been that good of a player but he loved it so much it didn't really seem to matter to him. This year I held him back to the same league instead of moving him up. I felt that he was timid because of the better players and I just wanted him to feel better about his own skills this year. His dad and I have worked with him and I am pleased to say that he is pretty good. I have watched him at his practices and the other day he hit 9 out 10 balls to the outfield!! Yeah Parker. You can just look at him and see how much his confidence has improved. I had one parent (a friend of ours) tell me how good he was. That made us feel good. He said that he was good enough to get on the Renegade team, which is a travel baseball team. I am a very proud mom and I am here to tell you that if people practice enough and want to improve it can be done. Just look at my boy!
